The battery unit is not machine washable and must not be connected.
Washing and care
Wash a heated garment without unpleasant surprises.
Remember this simple rule: the textile part can be cared for, but the battery and connectors must never be treated like a regular garment.
Close the pockets and protect the connectors before washing.
Follow the instructions on the model’s label and avoid high heat.
Reconnect only when everything is completely dry.
Proper procedures
Four simple steps before you turn the heat back on.
The exact instructions on the garment’s label always take priority. This page gives you the framework you should follow to avoid common mistakes with a heated garment.
Remove the battery.
Turn off the garment, disconnect the battery, take it out of the pocket designed for it, and keep it dry. Never start a wash with the battery connected or left in a pocket.
Prepare the garment.
Close the zippers, empty the pockets, check that the cable is not stretched or pinched, and then choose gentle care in line with the model's label.
Let the garment dry completely.
The important thing is not just that the fabric feels dry: the connection area must also be dry. Wait before reconnecting, especially after rain or washing.
Reconnect only when everything is dry.
When the garment is dry, put the battery back in, connect it properly and test the heat button for a few seconds. If a connector, a cable or the battery looks damaged, do not use the garment. Contact customer support.
What you should avoid
The mistakes that damage a heated garment.
Most problems are caused by rushing: a forgotten battery, damp connectors, tumble drying, direct heat, or a garment being reconnected before it is completely dry.
The battery is removable for a reason: it must not go in water or in the washing machine.
Wait until the pocket, cable and connector are dry before charging or reconnecting.
Avoid tumble dryers, very hot radiators, ironing technical areas and direct heat sources.
If a cable, connector, or battery looks damaged, you must stop using the product and contact us.
Battery
The battery should be treated as an electronic accessory.
- Charge it in a dry place with the correct cable.
- Avoid leaving it at the bottom of a damp bag or backpack after a trip.
- For longer storage, keep it dry and separate from the garment.
- Do not use a battery that is swollen, cracked, wet or unusually warm.
Rain and moisture
After a damp outing, the garment needs time to air out.
- Remove the battery if the garment has become damp.
- Open the pockets to speed up natural drying.
- Do not fold a garment that is still damp and place it in a closed bag or backpack.
- In heavy or prolonged rain, you should use a suitable outer layer.
