It all began on a train platform one January morning. A twenty-minute delay had been announced, I had three layers on, and I was pacing in place while counting the minutes — like everyone else around me. That morning, I understood something simple: wearing layer after layer means preserving heat that we are no longer producing. When we stand still, the equation is lost from the start.
I was looking for a serious heated jacket. What I mainly found were promises: runtimes that could not be verified, batteries sold separately and product pages that could not explain what was in the box. So we made it ourselves, with one simple rule: explain everything before purchase — the heating, the battery, the size, the return. Nothing to guess, nothing to discover when unboxing.

My train leaves at 6:52 and the wind cuts across the platform. I switch it on as I get out of the car: my back is already warm before the train arrives. At the office, under my jacket, nobody can tell I’m wearing a heated vest.
